It is hard to be consistent if you don’t have a good or strong idea for what to do. Create easy goals with measurable results. Define what consistency means to you and increase your exercise habit once you reached your end goal come up with smaller steps.
1- Create a schedule for yourself
For bigger goals like writing or daily exercise, set a minimum daily task that you can do towards this goal like you can set a daily time table.
2- Place Reminder
Sometimes we forget our daily goals like a promise, commitment with ourselves. In order to remember all these, put a written message or reminder on your phone. It will help you to stick with your commitments.
3- Reward Yourself When You Are Successful
If you complete your goal, give yourself a self-reward it will keep you motivated. Reward yourself with the things that motivate and appeal to you. This will ensure that even the small rewards are enough to get you off the couch and moving.
4- Build Your Willpower
Consistency requires willpower to achieve. Use your imagination because it is a powerful technique for improving willpower. Remember, your willpower helps you to cope with many things in your life.
5- Eliminate Negative Thinking
When you think negatively you are making yourself less likely to be able to hold to your consistent actions. When you’re stuck in a negative spiral, talk to people who can put things into perspective and won’t feed your negative thinking.
