How to Stop Animal Cruelty in Pakistan

Cruelty to animals; also called animal abuse or animal cruelty. Animal Cruelty encompasses a range of behaviors harmful to animals, from neglect to malicious killing, for example, lack of food or water, lack of shelter, lack of sanitation, poor body condition, etc. In Pakistan, millions of animals are abused brutally, caged in miserable conditions, and considered useless. It has also been observed that our zoos’ conditions are worst which is the major issue. Even animals brought from abroad are completely isolated, neglected, and abused. Considering the overall situation, here we are going to share some measures on how to stop animal abuse in Pakistan.

1- Be a responsible Pet Owner

If you are a pet lover, then you must own it like a family member. You should be a responsible pet owner who can take care of pets’ needs. Don’t forget that animals are also living beings, but cruel people act like they are useless things.

2- Be an example of Kindness 

Be an example of kindness and develop a sense of compassion for animals. Morevoer, foster homes to help these animals to get recover from any injury or wounds. You can provide them a safe shelter, hygiene food, etc.

3- Teach Your Children

Teach your children to have respect for animals. Set a good example by being respectful towards animals as they have senses too like you. They can feel the pain like you feel when someone hurts you mentally or physically.

4- Give Shelter to Animals 

Give shelter to animals in need. You can make a real difference by taking an animal out of a serious situation. This would be a great act of kindness if you provide such kind of basic necessities to them.

5- Educate People Around You 

Educate people around you about the issue. Help people to understand that human lives are important. Tell them to consider them as living beings. Also, tell them to exclude the word ‘It’ and use the word ‘He or She’ for their genders.

6- Make a Commitment 

Volunteering in your community is a great way to spread the word about animal rights. This is the most crucial and much-needed step towards spreading awareness regarding the neglected issue.

7- Adopting Pets

Adopting pets is a great way to stop animal abuse. If you want to contribute towards stopping animal abuse, then this would be the best way to stop animal cruelty.

8- Donate to Rescue Groups

You may donate to rescue groups of animals. You may not be in a position to own a pet, but by simply donating you can contribute to the cause. This way, the pet feels love and compassion.

9- Plastic is Harmful 

Plastic is harmful to the environment, especially wildlife. Reducing plastic consumption will go a long way in protecting animals.

10- Law Should be Set 

Law should be set for animal abusers. Animal abusers should punish by law in 50 states. There are a lot of things you can do to protect animals. We may not be able to set them all, but we must try it.
