I Wonder Why It Is Called a Pandemic Fear

“I say it’s just a merciful year
By Allah who has given us this cohere
To spend time at home with families and peer.

Yes, the world is in an awkward predicament
The state is detrimental and ambivalent
The circumstances around the world are quite evident
But I still say that Allah is benevolent.

I wonder why people utter it’s Allah’s rage
Believe me, he has given us a chance to engage
In praying and seeking for forgiveness like a sage
Let’s be grateful and appreciative instead of getting enraged.

Yes, the world is in a cumbersome quandary
I understand it’s severity, it’s not at all a drollery
But people must understand that it’s just a promontory
By Allah who has given us a chance to gain the lottery.

The lottery of praying and remembering Almighty
Who is the condolent and sympathetic deity
He is the one pulling each one of us out of this perplexing anxiety
From this calamitous situation and doleful society.

Yes, I know the world is in a dire emergency
Each one careful with this unpredictable divergency
Yet Allah is watching each one of us carefully
Simply wait, believe and show gestures of humble humanity.

Let’s not rant and vociferate about what is going on
Soon this all will end and be a bygone
All we need to do is be patient and understand Allah’s phenomenon
It is only HE who will pull us out from this mystifying spun.

Tearful but trustful,
Zahra Aziz
